New cut/bad fit
"I've had multiple pairs of these in the past and fit great. The newer cut comes up higher and the same size doesn't feel as the same as before. On the other hand the color was nice and would have liked to keep them."

Different fabric than other heritage canvas
"Newer alpargata shoes have had sharp edges on the heels that are very irritating. I got navy heritage canvas alpargatas last year that still had the arch support and the softer canvas that does not hurt my heels. I got these blush colored ones that were advertised as heritage canvas. The fabric is a looser weave and irritates my heels. I cannot wear them. The arch support also seems to be placed differently along the length of the shoes so that they hit in the wrong spot. I would return if they were not labeled "no return. ""
