Purpose

We're in business to improve lives. That’s why we give ⅓ of profits for good.

About 1 in 8 people in the world live with a mental health condition.

When you buy TOMS, you help fund access to mental health resources for the millions of people who need them.

There's power in your purchase. With your support, we have positively impacted 105,463,049 lives since our start.

Our Focus

Funding nonprofits that provide mental health resources remains our main grant-giving focus. This includes giving to nonprofits that serve their communities' mental health needs within their larger education, employment and gun violence prevention programs.

Why We Give

We are in business to improve lives. It's been our mission from the start. Our focus remains largely on providing mental health resources for the millions of people who need them.

How We Give

We work in deep partnerships with our grantees, operating from a place of trust. Since our partners know the obstacles and opportunities that exist within their communities best, we recognize the power in their hands. But we don't stop at cutting checks. We focus on building meaningful two-way relationships that provide ongoing support—through volunteering, celebrating big wins, donating products and helping to create lasting connections.

Why We Focus on Mental Health

Our mission of using business to improve lives challenged us to look inwards at ways we could stretch our impact further and even more effectively. Enter mental health. While the world affairs of 2020 put mental health under a direct spotlight, it has been a neglected part of human health for much longer. The mental health crisis touches everyone—with 1 in 8 people in the world experiencing a mental health challenge; and ripples of those mental health challenges extending well past individuals.
