WOMEN'S CORDONES VS. MEN'S

Let me start off by saying, I have bought every Cordone in the ladies colors in my size a W9.
I started to look at the selection of colors under the men's area (Cordones), and I looked at the comparisons of a W9 to a M7.
Well all I can say is this. If you are a person with narrow arch area & and narrow heel, but a medium width, the Men's Cordones fits better than the women's does.
I bought in women's a W9, and they run a little longer in the sole, so for comparison I've ordered a W8.5 (which hasn't arrived yet) to see if my foot fits more secure, width I'm fine in but in arch have to use laces, and in heel, mine slips some, oh and to add this is after I washed them first before wearing them because straight out the box, they were to big, henceforth why vie ordered the W8.5.

Today in the men's Khaki Harbour Cordones the men's W7, straight out the box fit perfectly! No washing to make up for the arch area & and heel area slipping because they fit just like they were made for fit as if special ordered. Didn't have to use the laces, but would if ever needed to change.

I wanted to share this review because on the ladies cordones comments were made about what size should I get, i.e., go up a size, same size I normally wear?

I will end with mentioning too that I have flat feet (arches low,of course you all know what that means) and I my second toe is longer than my big toe. Some females are probably afraid to express that, but as a swimmer, I'm proud of the fact. So this may help the women who have my type of foot in finding the right feet on the cordones, whether you are looking for men's or ladies.

Hope all this helps. It's a pain to return, but more than anything, a child is without a pair of shoes.

NOTE - Something tells me when my W8.5 arrives, it will probably fit better length wise.
Also check out all cordones ladies because the men's have some really great colors too.

I just got these shoes in the mail yesterday afternoon, and I'm already 100% in love with them. They have the same comfort and feel of the classic slip on TOMS, but I really like the looks of these quite a bit better. These were my 4th pair of TOMS but my first Cordones, and I'll definitely be getting more. They fit true to size, and they make my feet look tiny and narrow because the shoes themselves are so lightweight. I ordered an 8 (my usual shoe size, though in some shoes I need an 8.5) and they fit very well with plenty of room in the toe. I do wear them with a gel insole, however, mostly because the leather insole is a little firm for my taste. I like an insole with a bit more cushion, but the support in these is fine. They fit well both with and without the insole. Also, they look great with the multicolored thread in the plaid pattern, and even the liner has a really cute pattern too. Got compliments the very first time I wore them. Grab a pair before they're sold out, you won't be disappointed!

Only had them a few hours, already IN LOVE!

The summary says it all. I got these shoes in the mail earlier today, and they are PERFECT! Just as comfy as the classic TOMS, but with a snazzy twist. And personally, I like the looks of the Cordones a bit better. I love the brown plaid of these, the multi-colored threads are adorable. They fit pretty much true to size, but I wear them with a heel/arch support insole... not so much for the support, but to make them a little more squishy inside and to make them fit a little more snug.

If you love your classic slip on TOMS, then you should definitely pick up a pair of these. :)

I bought these at Nordstroms, and while at first a was disappointed because I had initially been hoping to find the Barletta Cordones, the only had these in my size. Now I am so glad i have the patterned Dolina Cordones! They spice up a plain outfit and i get tons of compliments. they're incredibly comfortable, breathable, and come with white and brown laces (i perfer the white). i find these shoes more comfortable than your typicial converse shoe. in addition, what toms is doing for the world is great! like Janet (below) said they do have a brown sole (not the red pictured above) but i think it actually looks far better in real life!

I love TOMS, I own 4 pairs already so I was excited to get these. I got them today and was disappointed that they're not as pictured. In the picture they look like they have red soles, but in reality they have black soles. They're still cute but I am disappointed, they look a lot cooler as pictured.

They come with brown laces.

The Dolina Cordones are my new favorite pair of TOMS! I can't stop wearing them! They don't blister or bother my feet at all.

I go without laces. :)

I wear these with my khakis/dress slacks for work, with jeans, with tights... They don't look like they would have a lot of support, but they are very comfortable and have good arch support. I can walk in these for hours. I get a ton of compliments. They're my fourth pair of TOMS.
