I just bought my first pair at a local shoe store yesterday, and I couldn't be happier with them. I often have a hard time squeezing my wide feet into a standard shoe, but my new TOMS manage to be super comfortable while actually making my feet look dainty at the same time! A miracle shoe with a great cause. These are my first TOMS but they won't be my last - Thanks so much!

I just got these today and i wore them right out of the store! Even though i was walking around they were still comfortable even without socks. The color will go with anything i bet. LOVE TOMS i can't wait to get another pair!!

First, I've had a pair of these and have worn them all over. Because of their small size and weight they are great for travel and hold up well. The soles do well even on wet stone walkways that my sandals often slip on. And they did great at the a contra dance last weekend: smooth enough to spin, but enough grip to not slip. The canvas is starting to show a bit of wear around the heel where it creases and the soles are getting thin. They have also faded considerably. But this is after a a full year and hours in bright tropical sun so I wouldn't expect much else. They are very comfortable and I often forget I'm wearing them (I love going barefoot). The canvas and footbed stretches and molds to my foot so that the fit becomes custom after a few times wearing them.
Second, I will be buying more pairs soon. Please make the canvas ones in the maroon color that the linen ones come in.

I have been been wanting a pair of these shoes for over a year..and I am beyond pleased. These shoes are so comfortable and lightweight.. the fit is pretty amazing as well....this is only the beginning of me buying many more pairs of Toms! :)

OMG! All of my friends were so crazy about toms and I always wonder why there was so much hype about them...I bought a pair and I fell in love with them! Do not have second thoughts, ORDER THEM! My only complaint is that the ash ones change color after time but I still love them!! BUY BUY BUY :))

I bought these a few months ago and they were my first pair of TOMS. I wear them pretty much everyday and they go with every outfit. I love the colour and they are soooooo unbelievably comfy. They didn't take any "wearing in", they didn't leave blisters or anything like shoes usually do when first wearing them.

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. I can't wait to get my next pair. (: <3

I have had these TOMS for a couple months now and I never want to take them off! They are very true to the size and have pretty nice arch support. I gave four stars because the ash color is definitely more of a brown than how it looks in the picture, which at first I was a little bummed about.

Okay so I received my Toms last week and I've been wearing them EVERYDAY no lie! They're easy to slip on and go. The ash canvas match everything..even in your bathing suit! I recommend them to everyone. Actually I'm about to online shop for more :)!!!

I agree with Teresa's view below 100%. These are my first pair and I'm totally in love with them. They fit perfectly, they're SO comfy, and so light weight! I feel so proud to wear them, too! I've already made my "wish list," and I know what I'm asking for for Xmas ;-). Oh, and some reviewers mentioned the color being off, but mine look exactly like the shade of gray I see on my screen. Can't wait to order more!!

I just got my TOMS today and I am VERY impressed with the quality of the shoe! I was expecting them to just be 'thrown together' but they are very well made! Once I put them on my feet I understood why everyone raves about them. They are SOOO comfortable! I wear flip flops a lot in the summer and my hubby says that he hates seeing me in flip flops all the time so that's why I decided to try out a pair of TOMS. Needless to say, I LOVE them and I am definitely going to be buying more! Not to mention the great cause of helping out children in need! Thank you TOMS!

These were my first pair of TOMS, and I took them to Europe with me. We walked about 10 to 20 miles a day, and I didn't even get one blister! They are super comfortable and go with everything. I love my TOMS!! :)

These were my first pair of TOMS and they are absolutely wonderful. I purchased them a little small so I've worn holes in both of my big toes. But I still wear them. The most comfortable pair of shoes that I've owned. They form to your feet and feel like a dream. Sad that I have to replace my worn out pair, but it's a worthy cause!

The Ash TOMS were my first pair that I fell in love with. I'm so used to wearing flip flops all the time because they're so easy to put on and lightweight but the problem was I live in a cold area even in the summer and wearing flip flops weren't so ideal. I bought these and they are AMAZING! SO light weight, cute, simple, and go with anything. Plus, my feet don't have to get cold (: I fell in love and bought 2 more pairs of TOMS the next week.

I LOVE THESE SHOES!!! At first I thought they were going to be too tight but after about an hour of having them on they formed to my feet and are now the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned..I have only had them for about a week and I have already went out and bought another style! Okay... So I was so confused about sizing, will they or won't they stretch. I am a true 8.5, and purchased that size. After an hour in the house, I decided that they were not super snug, but they were not falling off. And, my toes felt in the right place. After a day of walking, I think I was right. Light, packable and going with me on my Europe trip... plus a wee-bit will be wearing a pair somewhere in the world, yey!

i got these awhile back and i really do love them. they are so comfortable and cute and match with so many of my outfits. the only thing was that mine came in a different color than i had expected...i mean my friend has the same ones and her's is greyer than mine are..mines are kind of brownish but still grey..hard to explain..but despite that im still IN LOVE with these shoes. they really are great and i don't know which TOMS to get next!! :D

I've had my Ash Canvas TOMS for about a year now, and I absolutely love them! They are truly the most comfortable shoes that I have in my closet...and I have many shoes! I get so many compliments on my TOMS, which is great because I can go on to tell people about the One for One movement and they end up purchasing a pair as well. I only own one pairs of TOMS, but my birthday is coming up and hopefully I will recieve another pair soon! They are just a great pair of shoes! :)

I got these not long ago and are by far my favorite shoes. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9, and I went with an 8.5 with these which was perfect because they stretch. I may have stretched them a little too much as now they are a little loose, but still amazing. Definitely would recommend these to anyone, I get compliments all the time from a variety of people. Money well spent. :)

My friend had them and I was extremely jealous, but I finally got a pair! I don't see a brownish tint, it's most likely just the computer screen. Well I love them!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I bought just yesterday and haven't stopped wearing them. The ash matches everything so you can't go wrong with these. The pads of the choose move to your feet to the point where you think nothing is on. I got these in the mail a few hours ago and have been wearing then ever since. They are extraordinarily comfortable, and the arch support is excellent. These shoes fit me perfectly right out of the box, and have not stretched like some have said they do. However, I do have a wide foot, so those with normal or narrow feet may want to order a half size down. Also, I found the color to be ever so slightly darker than the picture, but they are still an awesome shade of grey. I can't wait to wear them on my road trip next week!

I just received my first pair of Toms for my 26th birthday. I LOVE them! Everyone talks about them being loose, which I agree with because I have narrow feet. However, they are true to size because the length is perfect. Nowhere on the site does it say that they are supposed to be form-fitted to your foot. Though mine are loosely fitting, they are very comfortable and never feel like they are going to fall off. I will be purchasing a second pair {possibly burlap?} this week! I'm a fan!

If you have narrow feet these shoes are tru to size, but if your feet are wide get a half size up or they get "pinchy". Otherwise i love the shoes! I can imagine a day without them now

I'm not a huge shoe person, but I love these. I was slightly worried about buying them without trying them on, i have skinny heels and can't wear slip-ons as they slip off the backs of my feet. When I got these I sat and tried them on and they seemed too loose on my heels . But if I walk around in them they do shift on my heel more than tennis shoes, but they stay on. Also some people have asked how long they take to ship, about 7 days.

These formed to my feet within a couple of days and feel almost like going barefoot. This does take a little getting used to... but they have better arch support than some of my tennis shoes. My sister and I both ordered ash canvas and hers are darker grey, while mine have a brownish tint. Either way, they go with everything. Also, if you don't wear socks they will stink and get holes in the toe, but I hate socks so I suggest buying some iron-on patches to reinforce the toe from the inside.

I have 4 pairs of TOMS, and these have held up the best. they last for years, and have taken me around the world from mexico to ireland. walking for hours every day, and they still show no signs of falling apart. get them a bit snug because they will stretch and form to your foot. also, wear socks with them or they will stink.

These are amazing. I bought these as my first pair of TOMS last week and wore them all weekend. After just the first day I wanted to sleep in them! I'm totally a flip flop gal, which my fiance hates. But now that I have TOMS, I'm hard pressed to go back to flip flops.
And they are true to size! They do stretch to just the perfect size. One of my feet is slightly bigger then the other, but after a couple days, they both fit like a glove!

I just got my first pair of Toms yesterday. I'd recommend finding somewhere to try them on first if your nervous about the size. I've worn from a 6.5 to an 8, and I ended up with a 7. Got them on right away, and the only issue is they scratch a bit on the heel, but once they stretch out, I'm sure it'll be no biggie! Some people have mentioned a brown tint to theirs, but I don't really see it. The best part about these is they are really snug, so your feet look so thin! Haha. We'll see how long they last.

The comfiest shoes I have ever owned. They took no "tredding in" like most shoes I own. The colour means they go with pretty much everything and the style does too. I wear mine with jeans, skirts, shorts, leggings... They're the best! Good value for money and the money goes to a brilliant cause! DEFINITELY RECCOMEND! I received my first pair of TOMS about a week ago, and I don't want to go any where without them! Order exactly your size...they do stretch and fit perfectly. This is a perfect color...the first day I wore them I ended up going to the marsh and they ended up a little muddy. I just let the mud dry and used a shoe brush and they look just like new.

Beware though - Make sure you put powder in them before they start to smell. :)

I am in loveeee with TOMS!! I've been obsessed since last summer, but didn't get any until my birthday in April (which were ash grey). They are REALLLLY cute and go with almost ANYTHING!! ;)

I love my TOMS. My shoe size is all over the place depending on what kind of shoe it is.
After wrestling my feet into my pair, I was incredibly disappointed when they felt much too tight and my toes were hanging over the edge. But after wearing them around, they've broken in and are my absolute favorite shoes.
I was worried when I was wearing my TOMS and it began to pour down rain (I even took them off and walked barefoot to protect them) but they still got soaked.
However, they dry out just fine with no damage to the color or the fit.
I seriously love these shoes.

I recently bought a pair of TOMs in a size 5 because the 6's were too big! The owner of the store says that the shoes will stretch, so hopefully it will! *fingers crosses* But seriously though make TOMs in a 5.5, it hurts just trying to break them in. =( Overall, the shoes look great and I have gotten a lot of compliments from the two days I've worn them.

I ordered these shoes a week ago, and when they arrived I had ordered a 5 because everyone said they would stretch, but they didn't. They gave my feet blisters, so i would get a normal size that you would wear. Very cute design, and comfortable!

These are my first pair of Toms, and I am incredibly pleased!! I ordered them this time last week, and they arrived earlier today! I am normally a size 8 in heels, and an 8.5 in regular shoes. After reading multiple reviews and talking to some friends that are avid Toms wearer's, I went with an 8. perfect fit! I couldn't be happier. I will def. be ordering more in the future!! :)

I love my ash toms. Theyre definately worn so I think I'm going to buy another pair. But some advice for those of you who find them too tight in the toe box. When I first bought mine I had to go down a size cuz of how narrow my feet are which made them uncomfortably tight so I didnt wear them much. Finally I wore them with socks for a day. This stretched them out perfectly and now I wear them everyday!

Simply put: I love these shoes. I love everything about them and I can't wait until the gold glitters are available in a size 6. I'm totally obsessed with them - the classic canvas is the perfect neutral shoe and will be my proud first pair in my soon-to-grow TOMS collection. Just a small note on sizing - I'm a solid 6, and these stretch a bit so I'm going to go down 1/2 size for the next pair. Its not that they don't fit, but they're just not snug.

I'll never buy anything else!

I LOVE these shoes! They are SUPER comfortable. They have really good arch support for your feet too! I got the ash color, but it comes in more of a light gray color, not as dark as the one shown online. Also, they tend to stretch out, so I recommend buying a half size smaller. But the TOMS I bought are my usual shoe size and they fit well (even with the stretching out), so I guess it's just my preference. :)

Absolutely the most comfortable shoes ever on my feet! I teach, am on my feet all day, and found myself skipping down the hall and across the playground with my kids! LOVE THEM! Ash is the perfect color for everything. They look more brown to me, more gray to my daughter...either way they look good! Trying to decide which to get next...going for 3 more pairs! How about some fabrics for winter wear?

i bought these shoes from a store at my local mall because i seen that this color was sold out online, and i haven't been disappointed once with my purchase. TOMS are so comfortable (possibly the most comfortable flat that i've ever worn) and they're so true to fit. like mentioned before, they're snug at first and sort of difficult to get on, but once you wear them a few times and walk out the tightness, they're so soft and very fitting. the bottoms stain easily and are hard to get clean but i can overlook that because of how much i love these shoes. the color isn't as grey as it shows in the picture; there's a brown undertone to it and it almost makes you think of a soft grey rather than ash, but whatever! i love these shoes and i plan on wearing the until they fall apart!

These are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn....seriously. This was my first order, and I bought both the ash & the olive colors. Although I do agree with several people who said the color doesn't quite look as grey as in the picture. To me, they have a slight brownish overtone. But they still look great, and match pretty much anything. And the olive I love because I have so many clothes that color. I can't wait to order another pair, in maybe a red or a colorful pattern. They fit true to size, a little snug at first but definitely stretch out. I would not go a half size up at all -- get whatever size you wear normally. Great shoes!!

these were my first pair of toms and i love them! i wear them every chance i get. the first week i wore them i stepped in mud while wearing them , i just washed off the mud with water and when they dried they were as good as new. i love toms its a great cause and i am glad to help.

I just received my TOMS today, and they are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever worn. I ordered .5 size down, at the recommendation of others. This turned out to be a smart decision. They fit snug, but not tight. I think if I had ordered my actual size, they would slip off of my heel. (I'm normally a 9, but I ordered 8.5) The ash color is pretty true to the picture. You can find these shoes in stock at certain retailers. You can look up retailers at the bottom of the home page.

these are by far, the best shoes. the always fit! there is no need for 7 1/3 size with these shoes! ASH IS NOT GREY. it is a mix of grey, brown and blue. for example, my sister and I both have the ash color and hers are more blue. mine are a lighter grey-brown color. TOMS will form to your foot to make the perfect fit. I do suggest that you get them a little roomy when trying them on without socks so that when you do wear socks they aren't cutting the circulation out of your feet!! how can you NOT want these shoes? they have a good cause, they are super cute, and super comfy. hope this helped!!!

Hopefully a more in depth review will help some of you. I'm extremely selective about my footwear due to tons of walking and occasional back pain. The TOMS are nicely padded with some arch support and are quite comfortable, that being said, they are still a flat shoe so don't expect support at the level of "comfort shoes". I almost always fit a 6.5, but in this size my heel was slipping out of the classic TOMS. So I bought a 6, which was snug everywhere and had less space in the toebox. As people have suggested, they do stretch after a few wears. However, during the "stretching process" the canvas in the heel ripped on both shoes, exposing the netting layer underneath. While the rip seems to be contained now that the shoe is stretched, it's still sort of unsightly for shoes I've owned for two weeks. I bought them from an Active Rideshop (an official TOMS retailer) but when I talked to TOMS they said they only cover shoes bought directly on their website, and Active only covers unworn shoes. Bummer.

This is my first pair of TOMS. I asked for them for Christmas--mostly for the one-for-one idea--after hearing Blake speak at my school. Little did I know that they would be the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I normally wear an 11-12, and while at first they were a bit tight, the canvas stretched out and fits my feet exactly. I walk about eight miles a day in them, and my feet could not be happier.

I tried both the classics and the linens on in Nordstrom to be sure of the fit. It was odd, because the 7 in the linens was too big, so I had to go down to a 6.5. However, the 7 in the classics was too TIGHT, so I went up a size and the 7.5 was just right. I ended up buying the red linens, but these will definitely be my next pair. I can't wait!

I almost didn't get these because people were saying they looked brownish but I just got mine in a ladies 7 and they look just grey to me. Perfect and just as comfortable as my red ones. I also like that the sole is a little lighter beige and not as orangey as in my other pair of classics. Can't wait to break them in!

I just ordered my first pair ever last week and was delighted when they came in Saturday! LOVE LOVE them - comfort, color, fit, etc. (I did get them half a size big like the recommendations). I have FLAT feet and can't wear ballet flats or heels because of it... but these are incredible! So comfortable.
Unfortunately my dog discovers that she loves them too - after only 4 days she managed to get her paws on them and chewed one up pretty badly. I got online today to order a new pair but they're out of my size!

i haven't actually bought these shoes YET, but plan to do so very soon. i did want to mention that i saw these in a store last weekend and the ash grey is just that. i did NOT think they had a brown tint at all, which made me wonder if maybe the color varies a little between manufacturing. maybe some people ARE receiving some with a tint, but others are not. i don't know.

I just received a pair of the ash grey in the mail yesterday, my first pair of TOMS. I normally wear a size 10, and my friend who has TOMS told me to order half size smaller because they stretch out. The 9.5 fit but they were too tight, even after stretching out a bit. I just sent them back to get a size 10 in black, the ash grey color does look a bit different in person than the photo. It has a brownish tint like other people have mentioned.

I ordered these shoes a few days ago and am very anxious for them to get here. I tried some on once, and they really feel like my slippers. I have what I call "troubled" feet because I have very high arches and narrow heels, and I have a feeling that these are going to be my one pair of shoes that doesn't give me blisters the first time I wear them. I appreciate Toms for the One for One movement! I think that getting a comfortable pair of shoes with the knowledge that a child in need is going to get the same shoes is such a wonderful thing.

as a girl who normally wears 11-12s in tennis shoes, it was a blessing to discover that TOMS shoes come in a large size 11 that fit my feet perfectly! the prior reviews are correct in stating that there is quite a bit of "stretch" to the canvas. i would recommend other size 11-12 girls try on the 11 - even if you are normally a 12, you might be surprised at how well they fit!

i do not know why others are complaining about the "ash" color. i find it to be a perfect dark shade of gray that can truly be matched to ANYTHING and i love it.

these shoes are truly some of the most comfortable i have ever owned. the amount of arch support is surprising, and you can tell that not only are they cute, they are also very well made.
can't wait to take my TOMS flag and shoes on vacation this summer so i can take a picture to submit!

I really do love these shoes. Mine came in while I was in NYC and once I got home,I haven't taken them off of my feet. They are surprisingly more comfortable than my Cordones' pair, which were more expensive. I would recommend these,but they are not the gray shown in the picture. They have a brown/red-ish tint to them along with being gray, but because of the weird tint they do not go with gray clothes. I still adore them though.

I had foot surgery and it was difficult to find shoes that fit comfortably until I found Toms. I love the cause and wanted these shoes for a while. I bought 2 pair and LOVE THEM!
The only problem is that the get wet easily and are not good for walking the dog through wet grass. That will not deter me from buying more Toms! I can't wait until my daughter's Toms get in.

oh my gosh. i just got my package today! i didnt even expect it until thursday, i ordered it saturday night and received an email monday that it had been billed. well today is tuesday and i have them! thank you so much TOMS. they match my barefoot at <3 shirt PERFECTLY. five million bajillion stars :D thank you so incredibly much!! its worth every penny.

I LUV my TOMS! They are so comfortable and durable. The color ash gray is fantastic. They go with hardly anything. I can't think of one negative thing to say about them.

Go with everything! I bought them in the store and thought they were vegan. Disappointed when I found out they weren't. Some months later, there's a hole by the big toe. Personally, I don't mind, I did get them a little snug.

I bought my first toms over the summer. They're comfortable and great, but mine decomposed quickly. After about a few months they had holes and were falling apart. I guess that's a good impetus to buy a new pair!

I bought my first pair of TOMS last year in the picnic basket plaid and those fit perfectly. I just got these in the mail and they fit a little differently. I pushed the old and new soles together and found that they are made slightly narrower and shorter now (and I'm pretty sure the old ones haven't just been flattened out since there is a difference in the sole under the arch as well, but I could be wrong). I think they'll stretch to fit, but now I wish they had width options. Other than that, my new shoes are lovely!

ordered these online and when i got them i was slightly disappointed with the color at first sight. i was expecting more of a gray and these are more of a brown gray. now i really like these pair, they are very neutral and versatile... a choice color. buy them now

so, i just got my TOMSshoes in the mail today, it only took two days for them to get here cause i live like 40min away so from the time they proccessed my order packaged it and delivered it AMAZING tim. anywho the shoes are soooo comfortable i couldnt ask for anything better! plus theyre cute and wayyy better than VANS

I am about 5 months pregnant and needed a sneaker/slip on shoe that I didn't have to bend down to tie. I have not taken them off since I got them. They are perfect for my commute in the city. I'm already on here looking for what pair I will purchase next. Thank you.

I just got my new Tom's from the delivery guy, and I am soooo happy!!! I can't wait for my little dude to try his pair on too!!!!

I ordered my standard shoe size and they are a little snug to begin with, but have already started stretching some. They will be a perfect fit in a day.

Now off to buy another pair!

These shoes are fab!!!! I wear my Tom's with everything!! I have 5 pairs!! I am a respiratory therapist and me and the girls wear them to work all the time! Amazing comfort that u wouldn't expect! Even turned my mom and my 8 year old daughter into a fan! Keep up the good work!

they were my first pair and i love everything about them. they are the most comfortable shoes i've ever worn. but the best part about owning them is the TOMS Shoes Movement. you all are inspiring. i cant wait to order a new pair next month. :)

very comfortable even when brand new- they didn't need any breaking in and they are extremely well made. only thing i would say is that if you are in the uk i would recommend buying half a size up from the suggested us size conversions as i'm a uk 4 and ordered a us 6 which were a bit too tight and i ended up kicking a hole in the fabric with my toe! made sure that my next pair were a uk 4.5 and they were a much better fit. i love the idea that toms donate a pair to child in need for every pair you buy and i have found that you can wash them on a cool wash with no ill effects (no socks takes it's toll- nuff said!)
