Travel to Botswana with the TOMS Animal Initiative

Founder of the TOMS Animal Initiative, Heather Mycoskie, was inspired to start the TOMS Animal Initiative when she learned that wild lions are at risk of being extinct. Through the TOMS Animal Initiative, we partner with nonprofit animal conservation organizations to drive awareness and funding for global animal protection. Recently Heather traveled to Botswana to join National Geographic Explorers-in-Residence, Dereck and Beverly Joubert, who founded the Big Cats Initiative with National Geographic in 2009. One of our favorite and most time-honored traditions at TOMS is coming together as a company and giving thanks- for the good times, for the lessons and for each other.
