To me these are a great neutral shoe. The gold is not over the top and I'm one that doesn't like shiny apparel items. I'm normally a 9 and ordered a 9. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I also ordered a Vegan pair at the same time in an 8 1/2 and those fit perfectly. I'm so happy people leave reviews so I can judge which size would work best for me. I would definitely recommend these as a great basic to add into your shoe wardrobe.
