Hi All. Thought I'd chime in as I was very confused what to buy size-wise. I wear a size 8 about 95% of the time but can have issues with some shoes as my feet are wide and I have high arches. I went into a store that stocked these and tried an 8 and 8.5. The salesman said buy them so your toes just hit the end. That was an 8 for me. My heel was pulling out of the 8.5 when I walked around the store. They didn't have black but I found a pair on a popular internet store. They are wonderful - a bit snug on my wide feet at first but they've stretched already and fit like a glove. Even when tight they are comfortable. You just don't want them to be too long and anyone with narrow heels may have issues. Hope this helps some people with what size to order. :)
