These were my first pair of TOMS, and I absolutely love them. I've worn them out so much. There's a rip in the back of my shoe now. Whooops. But that just shows how much I wear them :)

i got these months ago and wore them almost everyday! i do agree that they tear a little but with as much as i wear them that's not a surprise. i wear them even with the tears, they add character :)

I love these so much! people complain about them falling apart after a month or so, but I have had mine for a while and no tears or anything! But I just absolutely love these! If i ever go shopping and see some shoes I like but they don't fit or aren't comfortable, I don't even care anymore, I'm just like "Oh, I have my TOMS!" And I get compliments on them from people I don't know and I just love it! The sizes are pretty much exact, but if you can try some on before you buy them. There is only one thing I don't like...they start to smell:P But then I just got some spray deodorant and put in them and now they're fine. But if you have the problem with them smelling, just get spray deodorant.

Bought the burlap as my first pair of Toms. I have read reviews about them ripping and unraveling, but I've had mine for a couple of years and their still in good shape. SO COMFY! I don't wear them every day, but in Fall, Winter and Spring I wear them at least a couple of times a week. I now have 2 other pairs of Toms because I love the "buy 1-give 1" concept and the shoes are great.

They've held up well for over a year now. They hold up in the washing machine too!

My husband and I have had ours for over a year now. Whenever we wear them at the same time we gets compliments. They've held up until just recently. Burlap has pulled away from the back of the heel next to the sole. But other than that!!! They're awesome. We've washed my husbands in the washer and they shrunk a little but that's fine because his were a little big. So they do hold up well in the clothes washer.

Although they are a bit stiff, I love these TOMS! They were my first pair and now I'm obsessed!
They match almost all my outfits! I think they have a totally different look then a lot of shoes out there but TOMS can get away with it because it's a company that's a lot different than most.
If you're a unique and adventurous person then these are the TOMS for you!

so i got these at norstrums and the sales guy went back to get the sizes that i wanted to try on and he foun the last pair of burlaps and they were spossed to be sold out in all sizes but he found the last pair in a 7 and they r a little big just a smig but i dont care i had to get them they were so cute !!!!! :)

My Burlaps just came yesterday and I have been wearing them ever since I opened them up! When I first put them on, they did feel snug, but you need to wear them for a while for them to stretch a bit to fit your foot, so buy them a 1/2 size down from what you normally are (I'm normally 8 1/2 but I ordered an 8). They are so comfortable and the burlap does not scratch or irritate the skin at all. I highly recommend these for a first pair of TOMS because they go with everything - you don't have to worry about matching with your clothes. When you go to buy your second or third pair, that's a good time to buy colorful ones or patterned ones because you will want to wear them all the time!! Having a pair that goes with everything, I think, is crucial for everyone!

I love these shoes but I wear a 5.5 and it was suggested that I get a 5 but they are to small. A size 6 was to big. Any idea of how to stretch these to make them a bit bigger?

Oh my gosh. i love these shoes so much. i got them like 2 weeks ago and i wear them every single day. they go with anything and everything, and they're super comfortable. The sizes are pretty exact, but if you have to opportunity' you might want to try them on before you buy them. But i am seriously in LOVEEE with these shoes!

i really and truly do love these TOMS, but unfortunately they have been tearing. so now a bit of my heel and my toes have no more of the burlap material covering them. but they are so comfortable and amazing i keep on wearing them :)

I love these. The look, the naturalness of them, the color, the insole, everything.
However, before I ordered, I asked what size I should get. I normally wear a 5.5. I was told to get the size down, a 5. While I know the size 6 would be too big, the 5 is too small. I hope they will stretch some.
But really... please... make a 5.5! You have 6.5, 7.5, etc., we need a 5.5!
I would like to buy a pair of red TOMS but won't unless I can get them in my size, a 5.5.

I absolutely love my TOMS and wore them almost every day. However, after less than six months they started to tear at the heels and toes showing only the cloth. They continued to unravel which must have attracted my puppy because she chewed a big hole in one. Looks like its time to get another pair.

I love these TOMS soooo much! About to buy my first pair after years of admiring them online :\ but finally the day has come! So excited to be having the Burlaps as my first! There are a lot of different sizing comments, so I'm confused on what size to get. I am an 8.5 in sneakers so I think i will just get an 8 since some of you said these stretch. I wanted to buy a pair of TOMS but I couldn't decide which ones. I love the way these look but I saw some reviews about the burlap being rough, and having to break them in. I ended up buying them anyway after seeing TOMS' guarantee. I don't know if those people bought the shoes too small or what, but I've had NO problems with the material. In fact, they're the most comfortable shoes I own! I am usually an 8 (heels) to 8.5 (sneakers) and the size 8 fit perfectly. I love that they have some arch support and they're super cute and different. I'm back online browsing for my next pair right now!

I bought this pair of shoes awhile ago, and I absolutely LOVE them! The burlap looks nice with jeans, and with simply skirts. I wear them everywhere! Recently, they got a little dirty, but I hope to get the dirt out- no problemo! Great, great, great pair of shoes- highly recommend!

I JUST got these in the mail and felt the need to share my excitement :) I LOVE these shoes, they're super comfy (the soles are anyway, the burlap is a little rough, but duh - it's burlap!) I wear a 7 and I ordered a 7, even though I've heard mixed reviews on if the shoe fits true to size, but for me it does. They fit like a glove! I know I'll be making a ton more TOMS purchases in the future <3

First off: I LOVE THESE TOMS SHOES! They are so cute on, and comfy.
ONLY PROBLEM....the material they are made of has started to...i guess you could say fray..on the back of my heel. The burlap is unraveling and leaving only the thin cloth behind it. I am so sad b/c I have only had these Toms a couple months, and I loved them! Just a warning...

I ordered a 9.5 in the burlap and after just one day of wearing them in the house they were practically falling off. I sent them back, in exchange for a 9. So my advice would be to purchase a half size lower than what you usually are. You will break into them, even if they are a little snug. But I love the arch support! These are by far one of the most comfortable shoes!

I received my burlap TOMS on Friday and wore them all weekend! They fit me like a glove after just two days of wearing them. I was also worried about the burlap rubbing on my skin so I wore those little footie nylons that you wear with ballet flats...worked perfectly! No rub problems whatsoever. Can't wait to get my next pair of TOMS :)

*NOTE*
I made a comment on the red cordones & instead of explaining the details, look for my review there because the review adds to what I'm about to write here.

These shoes are so comfy with a sturdy feel to them. These can be worn now (Spring) and I'm sure probably into summer, but may be too hot for summer, not sure yet. They would make a great Fall shoe style. The comments as I mentioned before on the red cordones, , I didn't let these dry in full rack dry cycle only just enough to let them be slightly damp, and placed the shoe inserts that came with them to shape the front of the shoe. I did slip my foot inside to kind of mold my foot and then placed the inserts in actually.
All TOM'S I've bought & noticed are true to size in length, and width varies on each person. Hope this helps.

Ok, I spilled my Scentsy candle on them and the wax just saturated the burlap. so, I decided to wash them in the machine and air dry them. Suffice to say, they shrunk from a 9.5 to an 8 and my daughter is ecstatic. She loves her new Toms!!!!! So, unless you have a daughter that wears a smaller size than you, do not wash the burlap Toms because you will then need to go and buy a new pair immediately!!!!!

I ordered these in an 8.5, my usual size. They were definitely snug, but I read that they tend to loosen up quite a bit, so I wore them around the house for a while to see if they would get more comfy.

It didn't seem like they were going to loosen up enough, so I ordered the 9 (but still kept the 8.5's for now.) The 9's are just a little loose...I don't know what to do! They are definitely going to be too big if they loosen up any more at all. I am wondering if I should give the 8.5's more time to loosen...but I don't want to break them in so much that they are unreturnable.

All the sizing drama aside...I LOVE the look of these and they will truly go with everything. Love the "One for One" too...makes you feel good to know your purchase goes beyond just getting a pair of shoes.

So...want a great pair of shoes that automatically come with some good karma? Order yourself some Toms. =]

The shoes themselves are great, I just have sensitive skin and anywhere the burlap material is touching it gets raw after wearing them for awhile. So I will be getting more pairs of Tom's, just in different materials!

I've been drooling over Toms for a bit, but was having the hardest time deciding which pair to buy. It was between the burlaps and a few others... I usually wear an 8.5, sometimes an 8... I found myself fitting better in the 8s, and even a few 7.5s. Plus, every Toms material makes the shoes wear different. I tried on Canvas, burlap, and Cotton, and they were all totally different feels/wears. I'm so glad I tried them on first, bc ordering online, I would've gotten the too-big 8.5s and had to deal w. shipping (nono!!!). That out of the way, the burlaps are GREAT. A classic summer neutral that is the perfect casual shoe. Looks great w. my jeans. The Leather insole is divine. I've rarely had a more comfy shoe. The soft cotton lining is just like a cherry on top. I'm cool w. them getting a "distressed" look as they wear... that's bound to happen. But I'm also not one to immediately toss my shoes, so I'll probably take them over to my local cobbler for some cpr if things look too dire. For 54 bucks, you can bet I'm babying these lovlies!!!

So I got these about in August (about 8 months ago) and I love them! My only complaint is (this is more really my fault) that I tend to drag my heels a bit when I walk so the burlap wears away really fast. So at the heels there's a big hole and I even went through the hard rubber part so now the plaid in the inside is exposed. That's going to wear down pretty fast...

At first I was a little skeptical when ordering these Toms because I thought the burlap would be itchy, but that’s not the case at all! These shoes are lined with a pretty plaid print and are extremely comfortable. The only problem I had was size. I usually wear a 9.5 and Im sending them back to get a 10. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase! Keep up the good work Toms! :D

These shoes are absolutely amazing. I got my first pair last Christmas and I fell in love. I feel so good when I buy a pair and I don't even worry about the money because it is helping children in need. I already have four pairs and another one on the way soon! I plan on owning them all one day. They are so comfortable, cute, and they go with just about everything. They are so light weight and I love them so much.

the burlap is rough on your heels. the heel and arch support is amazing and they are super dupper comfortable they look amazing and go with everything, though they do take some breaking in! TOMS are the most amazing shoes ever created! Amber: They fit perfectly. Order acordingly, because if there to small they can be uncomfortable! And you also wouldn't want to be to big either. But I love my TOMS!!!

These are by far my favorite pair of TOMS that I have ever bought. They're perfect to wear for any occasion. I've worn them to school, biking, walking, dances, campus longboarding, and to shows and they're still in super good condition (I've had them for about six months). Honestly, the fit from the first time I tried them on was perfect...they are true to size, so order accordingly. The shoes are lined, so they are very comfortable to wear. The texture and look of the burlap material make these my favorite pair of TOMS to wear. However, at the heel of my right shoe tearing and wearing-away of the material has occurred...but they are still holding up fine. All said and done, I would buy these again, although I wish they had burlap in more color varieties as well.

I really loved these Toms when I first got them, so I wore them literally everyday. I made the mistake of getting them wet and wearing them without socks so now they have a terrible smell. They aren't durable but if you're delicate with your shoes they're great, I don't regret my choice at all and neither does the child in need!

I own 4 pairs of TOMS and my burlap pair are by far my favorite, they are more sturdy that the canvas and don't rip as easily, also if I wear them in the sand the dirt comes off easily and they dry looking brand new. Also my burlaps are a bit warmer than my canvas shoes making them a winter and summer shoe. Love these shoes! Keep up the good work TOMS!

I was walking in a parking lot, tripped over one of those concrete parking blocks (so your tires don't go past the block), and it totally ripped the tip of the burlap into a shredded hole. So, now I have a big opening where some of my toenail is slightly exposed and it got bigger the more I wore it that day. I love the looks of them, but they are not durable at all.

My husband said it looks like ptatoes sack. I love it! When I first got it, it felt a little bit small. Next day, it is perfect size and really comfortable. Also, I have to tell you. I cannot live without socks BUT I don't need socks with this shoes! I will buy three more Toms shoes. Plus, I like One for One movement.
