Hello, Segerstrom Fundamental High School Student Body, has just boughten 48 pairs of black canvas TOMS.. we are planning to go to Leadership camp at Santa Barbara University.. we needed to find shoes to match and we saw your "One for One" and thats when we bought 48 pairs.. This shoes are so comfortable and nice looking(: I hope those 48 shoeless children like their TOMS.. because WE DO!!!

I've been wanting a pair of black classics for over a year, and I just got them the week school got out. I love my Toms. They're my favorite pair of shoes that I've ever had. They're extremely comfortable and I love how they stretch out to fit your foot. The only problem is that they get over heated when you wear them in the sun, the black ones that is. But still. I love them, they're amazing. I wear them any chance I get.

Put the shoes in a ziploc plastic bag and stick them in the freezer..this kills the bacteria that cause them to smell..repeat whenever necessary!

i got my first pair around 6 or 7 months ago.
the soul support is smushed down and the rubber bottom is wearing away.
they also have small holes in the first layer of fabric on the toes.
but i absolutwly love them :)
to be honest, theyre more durable then i thought.
i figured theyd be really flimsy, but theyre great.
ive gotten so many compliments on my habitante' vegan classics and i love the cause.
im really wanting some black canvas classics.
i wear socks with mine but i hear alotta people dont.
my sis doesnt but she says it makes them smell REALLY bad?
anyone else think so?

Ive had my toms for awhile now,really good deal. These are really durable. I usually wash them and let them sun dry because i dont wear socks with them.but yeah,im planning on getting a pair tonight

I've heard so many great things about these shoes that I went to a Nordstroms that sold them to try them on. I fell in love instantly. It felt like wearing comfy house slippers everywhere I went! There's great arch support.
The only complaint I had was that the sizing was very different. A 7.5 in one pair was completely different than a 7.5 in another pair. That was really the only difficult part so please be sure of your size before you buy!

Other than that, these are an absolute MUST HAVE in your shoe collection. They look great with almost anything if you wear them right!

Lately I had been wanting a pair so bad that I saved every little cent and even sold some small things on ebay to pay for them. A couple days ago I walked into Active Board Shop...and saw a whole bunch of TOMS up on the wall. I was so happy I couldnt get the smile off my face.

Now Im usually a Size 9...depending on the shoe. So I figured I try a 9.5. The sales lady told me all they had was a 10. Not wanting to pass this opportunity up, I tried them on. To my surpise they fit with just enough room to spair. I like the little bit of extra room it gave me that way I could wear them with socks if I wanted to. My advice would be to buy your TOMS at least half a size so they'll fit just perfect.

The shoes are pretty well crafted, but I can definitely see these wearing out with excessive use...but what shoes dont? If you take good care of them I could see them lasting at least 7 months.

I love my TOMS, and Im a huge supporter of what they stand for. The One for One movement grabbed me, and it just seems to make sense to me. Ill definitely be buying more, and show my support in any way possible.

I just got my shoes I gotta say I like em a lot. These shoes arent as durable as I thought they wu;d be...and they kinda seem like they might wear down in 5 months or so. But the cause is just so damn great...I dont even care!

These were my first pair of TOMS and the instant I saw them then put them on I fell in love with them. They are the perfect fit and comfy, with a nice arch support. The color makes them extremely versatile, I can wear them with anything. One for One All the Way! I plan on buying another pair sometime soon!

I've had my Tom's for almost a year now and there still as amazing as the first time it put them on. I agree that the leather near the toe part dose tend to get lose, and when you first get them the bottoms are slipery on tile and marble/stone floors. But once you were them for are a little bit and get them broken in they are amazing. <3

I love my TOMS! there super comfortable, and I've had them for about three months. I plan to get another pair, because i already have a hole in mine but hey......they still rock!
I honestly just wish that they would make the inside better because your feet get sweaty and the leather comes off. Otherwise, TOMS rock!

I just bought my first pair and I LOVE THEM SOO MUCH that i actually kissed them when i opened the box. I plan on never taking them off. They are very light and I am going to where them to an interview :) thanks tom and I am going to buy more pairs soon.

So a couple of my friends had these shoes and I decided, "oh what the hell, I'll get a pair!" I tried them on and they were a bit tight, but after wearing them for 10 min. they fit perfectly and I've been wearing them ever since, that was about 2 months ago and they still feel and fit amazing. I want to get a pair in every color of the Classics. Plus it is a great thought that every pair you buy puts shoes on a child somewhere in the world.

All of my friends have bought a pair of TOMS shoes and have been wearing them out and then re-ordering more. Everybody that I know also went a day without their shoes, which was awesome because a lot of people didnt know what the heck was going on, and it gave them an opportunity to share about the TOMS cause! @CeCe - I used to work at a shoe store, and generally the rule is that you move down 1.5 sizes going from womens to mens, so you'll want to get a 7 or 7.5 in mens. Hope that helps...

As far as the review goes,
The idea behind Toms was what first attracted me to them. Giving for each pair they sell is very kind and will make such a great impact, and I hope they keep growing because I know I'm hooked now! The classics seem very flat when you look at them, but when you wear them, they give a lot of support, and are some of the most comfortable casual shoes I've ever worn. I kind of wish Toms would offer some more multi-colored shoes in the future though. Keep up the great work!

These are some comfortable shoes. I prefer to wear socks because it just gives it a bit more comfort. I really suggest the socks because dirt and stuff+sweaty feet= not a good feeling on your feet. Oh and i recommend black socks. White socks will just get really stained.

Most people post stuff like "OMG THEY ARE SO AWESOME" because they are new to TOMS I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the message and meaning behind TOMS I think its so generous and cool. My TOMS, I will admit they lasted a pretty good while within the 4-5 months I had them. I made the mistake by climbing trees, longboarding, and doing parkour in them. Next pair I get, I will be way more careful in not to rip them. And be sure to WEAR SOCKS! if not your sweaty feet will soften the leather in the shoe and it will rip off. and feel really uncomfortable. If you want the "no socks look" wear no show socks. But never the less these shoes were awesome! they were SOOOOO LIGHT! and i was excited when I could tell people about them! I'm going to support TOMS forever!

I have been a fan of TOMS forever and love what they are doing. I hate the fact the people say that giving a pair for pair idea isnt enough! I would love to see a up and coming company give half of their product away! It does matter how much the cost of the product is, the truth is, they are giving away 1/2 of their product...get with it or get over it!

So, my friend told me about the whole TOMS thing on wednesday. By saturday, I had 2 BRAND NEW pairs of TOMS. These are seriously the best, most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have gotten more compliments on these shoes than any other pair of shoes I've owned. I got my first two pairs at Nordstom's, wore them the rest of the day. Then the next day, I ordered another pair and by the end of that week (right now), I'm waiting for my fourth pair! :) I LOVE these shoes and i honestly feel that when I buy a pair, I'm helping out. Im gonna buy shoes anyway right?! SUPPORT THE CAUSE! GO TOMS!

This is my first pair of TOMS. A of all, love their purpose! It's a nice push for us fat Americans to get off our lazy butts & help others in need. B of all, they are super comfy!

I just took them on a tough hike because I wanted something light and comfy to wear afterwards. They are awesome! I will definitely spread the TOMS cause and refer their extreme comfiness to others as well as return as a TOMS customer!!

So this is my first pair of TOMS. Not gonna lie they are pretty sweet. I love not wearing socks with shoes (it turns out to be gross in any case though, even these). They're super light weight and comfortable, i'm still waiting to see myself on how well they will hold up and last for. The bottoms are getting scraped up within the first week and a half already but what shoe doesn't? I am pretty happy with my purchase however yes shipping is kind of a bummer cause it was like $10 but I guess I can live with it. The one for one campaign is great and I hope that TOMS is continuing to give to those who are in more need than we are here in America.

Have worn my black classics almost everywhere! As soon as I put them on, it felt like I was wearing track shoes and could sprint faster than anyone. Gone to numerous Dance/Music Festivals and literally danced excessive hours in these w/o any discomfort whatsoever!

I do hope Toms contributes more than just shoes cuz it only takes $2 to make these and they took the idea from simple ppl trying to make a living. Toms, shoes r always a great donation, but they aren't edible so I hope you're doing more than just giving shoes ;D

I love the shoes!!! These are amazing and really comfortable. However I wasn't happy with the buisness of the shipping. 11 dollars for general shipping and 50 for overnight? I didn't like that at all and I wasn't too happy with how long it took for my order to be processed. However the shoes are amazing and I am going to do buisness for TOM'S again. Cause they are the shoes of tomorrow. =) And it's for a great cause.

I love these shoes, and I have had them for four months. Obviously in that time frame, they will get wet. I should rate this four stars, since they bleed terribly with the tiniest drop of water, but I love them too much...I think i am going to go back and paint them, since they faded when they bled.(and since they're Toms)!!!!

Many of you seem to love Toms. However I question whether you love the actual product or you are more in love with the business model that Toms has adopted.

REVIEW OF PRODUCT:
The shoe is obviously different/unique. This appeals to me since almost everyone these days wears Chucks or Vans Authentics/Slips. They are comfortable and provide reasonable support. They are a tad small. I suggest ordering a 1/2 size up. Many will argue against this but I feel the material feels cheap. Obviously they have to come up with money to make the One for One campaign work. Most definitely these shoes are not worth the money you pay for but at least you're helping people out who do not have shoes. Plus they are pretty stylish. If you are looking for a shoe that will provide protection to your feet these are not it. I would advise against playing any sports (for example soccer) with these shoes. Overall it's a pretty good product. I will probably be exchanging mine because the black ones look too much like Wushu martial arts shoes and mine were a bit small. Probably will do business again.

REVIEW OF SERVICE:
Toms provides average shipping service. Let's be honest. Sure, One for One is a great model but if you are in the online shoe industry, you should be trying to be like Zappos. Why is Zappos so successful? Customer satisfaction!!!!! They offer free shipping, free return labels and a return policy that lasts ONE WHOLE YEAR. Occasionally they bump your shipping to FREE NEXT DAY AIR. I am a VIP member at Zappos so I always get NEXT DAY AIR. I didnt even need to pay for VIP membership.

I ordered my Toms on Sunday and I only got them on Friday. My order was still processing up to Wed(a little unhappy about that). Normally when I order from Zappos I will get them the next day or at the latest 2 days after ordering. My suggestion is if Toms really wants "100% Happiness Guarantee", get Free Shipping. It doesn't even need to be next day air free shipping. I don't mind waiting a week or two if the shipping is free. Especially when for every pair of shoes you need to pay for tax and shipping. That turns a inexpensive canvas shoes into a normal priced shoe.

Sure, Toms is for a cause but they are FOR profit company. They own a non profit subsidiary but Blake and co. makes money off of TOMS. If you want to increase profits, and increase the number of shoes donated to kids that need them provide better shipping and better customer satisfaction. If it weren't for the shipping and tax costs I would've bought two pairs of shoes. Because of it I had to settle with one.

Great great shoes feels like you are wearing nothing plus you buy and pair and then they give a pair pretty cool. I highly recommend these shoes.

I got a pair of Toms for my kids for Christmas..i tried on my daughters and fell in love..i now have to buy her another pair..they are so comfortable and feels like you are walking with nothing on..as one who has to wear heels for work i make sure that i wear these as much as i can and would say to anyone "if you are thining about them..stop thinking and get a pair.. it will be the best money you have ever spent on shoes!"
