    • Grind: medium coarseness
    • Rinse your paper filter with hot water
    • Use approximately 30-35 ounces of water,
    • When water boils, remove pot from heat for 30 seconds
    • 8-9 tablespoons or 50-60 grams of beans makes about 32 ounces of coffee
    • Pour your water in three steps:
      • 1) Cover coffee grounds with water and let the coffee bloom
      • 2) Slowly pour until water level is 12 below the top
      • 3)After letting the water drain halfway slowly pour the rest of the water
    • Total brew time should take 3 12 minutes

    • Place lid and plunger - don't push down
    • Let sit for 1 minute
    • Remove lid and stir coffee

    • Allow machine to heat water - do not boil

    • Shot should take about 20-30 seconds
    • End shot as soon as it starts to really lighten in color, or blond
